Overview

KIT offers a variety of Information Technology services and plans ranging from general consulting to traditional break-fix support to proactive committed service plans. We can be your outsourced IT department, augment your existing staff for those specialized projects or provide general guidance for those times when you are just not sure where to turn to find solutions. We work both on-site and remotely.

Our core business is providing IT service, however we have partnered with many of the industry’s leading technology vendors to supply hardware and software to support your business needs. KIT is hardware and software agnostic – we will work with any 3rd party vendor to meet your requirements.

  • General IT Consulting: Needs assessments, audits, recommendations, advice, guidance and hands-on system maintenance. A popular request is to develop an Information Technology road-map or 5 year plan.

  • Project Management: Lifecycle project management from inception through implementation. If necessary, we will work with you to develop a defined scope of work and estimate the level of effort.

  • Traditional break-fix support: Contact us when something in your IT environment breaks or is not working and we will diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

  • Committed Service: A fully outsourced IT solution providing proactive IT system maintenance and monitoring.

    Specialties

  • Windows Server and Active Directory: KIT has been working with Windows Server since the days of Windows NT 4.0. We’ve managed complex multiple Active Directory domain systems including trust relationships.

  • Microsoft Exchange: Extensive history of successful installations, migrations and restorations. We’ve performed migrations consisting of over 1,500 mailboxes.

  • Virtualization: KIT firmly believes in virtualization. We’ve converted systems containing over 25 physical servers into a virtualization infrastructure containing as little as 3 servers. Most every server deployed in the past few years has been set up using virtualization.

  • Engineering / Architecture / CADD / GIS: Extensive experience supporting high-performance network infrastructures running applications from vendors such as AutoDesk (AutoCAD and its many variations), Bentley (Microstation), Dassault Systems (SolidWorks and Vault) and ESRI (ArcGIS).

  • Standard Hourly rate: Our overhead is extremely low allowing us to provide a low standard rate.

  • Block of Time: We offer blocks of 8 hours at a 10% discount from our standard rate and blocks of 40 hours at a 20% discount from our standard rate.

  • Committed Service: Annual pro-active service plan billed in monthly increments. Typically based on number of network devices, servers and computers in your environment.
